They cover the island in a wonderful silver green shimmer. The natural harbour of Gaios is unique and provides a special atmosphere during our stay here. In the morning we cruise to Lefkada Island, Lefkada City, but before arriving we anchor near Antipaxos for a swim stop from the boat. From Lefkada City we start our tour around the lagoon and can enjoy a second swim at the white sand beach, Agios Ioannis. After returning to the boat, we navigate our way to Nidri where we will spend the evening and the night.

Cycle route approx 8km

Day 4
Lefkada - Cephalonia

In the morning we ride from Nidri through olive groves to a nearby waterfall. If we are lucky, a steady stream of water will enable us to take a refreshing swim. Following the excursion we make our way to Fiskardo on the Island of Cephalonia. This port, located at the northern tip of the island, delights us with its colourful little houses and many cafes and bars along the picturesque harbour promenade. An evening walk of approx 30 minutes takes us to a pretty lighthouse. Overnight in Fiskardo.

After a short crossing by boat we reach the harbour of Sami. Today’s bike tour starts here and leads us along the coastline to the enchanting Melissani Cave, accessible only by rowboat. A visit to a donkey farm, knowledge and fun at the same time for all ages, is next on the agenda before the tour takes us back to the boat. The boat meets us in Sami and takes us for a well-deserved swim break. Our journey then takes us further to Meganisi, a charming island where we spend the night.

Meganisi - Arillas

After breakfast we have the chance to explore Meganisi on our bike. Afterwards a long crossing will take us to Arillas, an idyllic and peaceful place along west coast of Greece, close to Perdika on the Greek mainland. A stroll along the sandy beach or a swim around Panagiota (the boat) rounds off the day. We spend the night in Arillas.

Important Notes

Itinerary Changes
Cruise Operator reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions or organisational requirements.

Fitness Requirements
Multi Adventure cruise programme offers a combination of small bike tours and hikes. The bike tours are accompanied by a local guide. The tours are simple and do not require any particular level of fitness. The small hikes take place on good paths, sometimes paved, and also require no particular level of fitness. Should certain activities require a higher level of fitness, your guide will inform you of this prior to taking part in the activity. Multi Adventure cruises are particularly exciting for the children in the group.

Group Riding Pace
On most Bike & Boat cruises you can choose between a hybrid bike and an e-bike. However, the guided group pace is based on the speed of the hybrid bike cyclists. Those who rent an e-bike on a hybrid bike tour, are asked to show consideration for those who ride without electronic assistance. Hybrid bike cyclists need more breaks and more time to cycle the hills. We thank you for your understanding.

Helmet Requirement
Helmets are mandatory on all bike tours. It is advised to bring your own, well fitted helmet with you as rental helmet numbers are limited (reservation required).

Catering
The onboard chef is a member of the crew and prepares breakfast and one or two warm meals a day. The catering consists of 2 x Full Board and 5 x Half Board and starts with dinner on the arrival day and ends with breakfast on the departure day.

Internet Availability
Panagiota does not offer a WiFi connection. If you need to connect to the internet during the cruise, we recommend to take your portable electronic device to a cafe or bar somewhere in the harbour. Free WiFi is on offer almost everywhere. If you order something to eat or drink, then you are able to use the WiFi to your hearts content.

Language
Cruise and cycle tours are conducted bilingually (English, German).
