Day 3
Ljubljana - Bled - Plitvice Lakes

Departure to Bled, a small town in the Julian Alps that ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. It is like a setting for a classic fairy tale, immense natural beauty with mountains and forests surrounding an emerald glacial lake. Visit to the Bled Castle, which is the oldest in Slovenia. After Bled continue your journey to Plitvice Lakes area for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 4
Plitvice Lakes - Split

Morning walk around Plitvice Lakes, a well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site, a natural beauty of the 16 crystal-blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Departure to Split Port to embark on the Adriatic Paradise Cruise. Over a welcome drink and a snack, meet your Cruise Director and the crew and get acquainted with the rules and safety measures. Your journey begins with dinner onboard and overnight in Split Port. (B, D)

Day 5
Split - Hvar - Vela Luka

Today is the day for enjoying the highlights of the central Dalmatian coast. After breakfast, hop over to the Island of Hvar, known for the purple of its lavender fields, the red of its wine and the Venetian feel of its hotspot Hvar Town. Join a guided walking tour of Hvar or explore on your own before taking a refreshing swim at Pakleni, the wondrous neighbouring islands. Finally, a short cruise takes you to Vela Luka on Korčula Island, where you will arrive just in time for a relaxing late afternoon. Captain's Dinner onboard and overnight in Vela Luka. (B, D)

Day 6
Vela Luka - Mljet - Slano

Your captain will pick a secluded bay for you to hop into the sea and start the day. Surrounded by deep green forests which earned Korčula its name and fame, meditate upon the sound of crickets and silence as you immerse yourself in the essence of this region, the crystal-clear, blue sea. Then continue to another green island, this time Mljet. You can join an optional excursion to visit the National Park itself, home to two saltwater lakes connected with the sea via a narrow canal. The bigger lake hides a charming islet in its centre, with 12th century Benedictine monastery. After Mljet, continue cruising to the mainland and spend the evening in the small settlement of Slano, once adored by Dubrovnik sea captains. The reason why, becomes self-evident as soon as you take your first stroll along the waterfront. (B, L)

Day 7
Slano - Dubrovnik

In the vicinity of Slano, the petite town of Ston claims its fame for many things gourmand, strong wines, ancient salt production and succulent oysters and mussels. An optional "Taste of Dalmatia" tour highlights all these treasures, but you can also just relax in Slano before cruising out to Dubrovnik. Midway, a dip in the Adriatic gets you up and ready to join a guided tour of Dubrovnik Old Town. Surrounded by immense city walls, as if in a universe of its own, the world-famous facades line up as you walk the same streets as the cast and crew of the Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Robin Hood. Enjoy an evening of romance, glitz and glamour, as you will be staying in Dubrovnik for overnight. (B, L)

Day 8
Dubrovnik - Elaphiti Islands - Korčula

The far south of Croatia holds many gems. Scattered between Dubrovnik and Korčula, the Elaphiti Archipelago is alluring for its pristine islands which were once an oasis for local seamen to build their ships and for captains to build their estates. Today, the Elaphiti are praised for their quaint ambiance. Stop at one of the three inhabited ones for a stroll and a swim, before lunch onboard enroute to Korčula. You’ll know Korčula was a Venetian stronghold as soon as you lay your eyes on the many lion statues which lurk at you from the town’s facades and gates, intertwined with some of the most outstanding stonework you will get to see anywhere on the Adriatic Coast. The alleged home of the world-renowned traveller Marco Polo is bound to charm you, whether you explore it on your own or join a walking tour. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 9
Korčula - Makarska

Breakfast is served onboard while navigating through the central Dalmatian islands on one side and the high mountains of the mainland on the other. Enjoy a swim before lunch and then spend the afternoon in the beautiful seaside town of Makarska, which is certainly one of the highlights of Dalmatia. The imposing mountain range of Biokovo Nature Park in the background offers a magnificent contrast to the coast with its beautiful turquoise blue beaches, all of which makes Makarska a true picture perfect destination, a paradise both for adventure travellers and those seeking a relaxing beach holiday. Strolling through the historic town centre, past small romantic alleys and squares, you will discover many attractions worth seeing. You can also join an optional excursion to Biokovo Skywalk. Overnight in Makarska. (B, L)

Day 10
Makarska - Pučišća - Split

Enjoy breakfast with the stunning views of the playfully dispersed archipelago of islands and followed by a scenic cruise, and even a refreshing dip along the way. Stop to visit the homeland of the Croatian marble, the Island of Brač. You have probably seen this ultra-quality limestone already, perhaps on the front of the White House in Washington DC or Bundestag in Berlin, but the tour to still operating Stonemasonry School in Pučišća, brings a chance to learn more about shaping this beautiful stone for eternity. Continue your cruise to Split. Upon arrival join a walking tour of Split’s famous Diocletian Palace. Originally built to house the locally born Roman Emperor, the palace grew into a city it is today. With your local guide, discover the secrets of centuries past in what is today the vibrant core of Dalmatia’s largest city. Overnight in Split. (B, L)
