Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Ljubljana

Welcome to Slovenia and its beloved capital Ljubljana. Meet with your Tour Director and get to know the details of your tour. Free time in Ljubljana.

Day 2
Ljubljana - Bled - Ljubljana

Your guide will take you around and show you the most important attractions, such as Prešeren Square, Triple Bridge, Fish Market, Town Hall and many others. To wrap up the whole Ljubljana story, you will also take funicular up to the castle hill, to learn more about Ljubljana and Slovenia history and of course admire amazing view from the top. Free time for lunch and then drive to the green Alpine world to visit famous Lake Bled. With immense natural beauty, Bled, together with its surroundings and magnificent lake with an island, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts of the world. Visit the amazing castle on the cliff, offering stunning views of the region. Some free time to enjoy by the lake and then return to Ljubljana for overnight. (B)

Day 3
Ljubljana - Postojna - Zagreb

Discover the magical underworld of Slovenia and enter the “Queen of Caves” - Postojna Cave, the only cave in the world with a train in it. The cave offers a unique experience of the underworld and will absolutely leave you speechless. Some free time for lunch and then travel to Zagreb, impressive capital of Croatia. Upon arrival guided walking tour of the historical capital composed of the ‘Gornji Grad’ and ‘Kaptol’. Tour will show medieval urban complex of churches, palaces, museums, galleries and government buildings, popular sightseeing spots in the city. Rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 4
Zagreb - Lake Balaton - Budapest

Check out from the hotel and drive to Budapest, capital of Hungary, the imperial country that used to be a part of Austro-Hungarian Empire. On the way, stop at Europe’s largest freshwater lake, Balaton. Visit Tihany Peninsula and enjoy some free time by the lake. Arrival to Budapest in the late afternoon. Check in and free time. (B, L)

Optional: Take a cruise on Danube River and enjoy the city from another perspective

Day 5
Budapest

After breakfast you will taste the spirit of the capital city of Hungary divided on the banks of Danube River. You will admire Andrássy Avenue, Hero’s Square, famous Fisherman’s Bastion, Mathias Church, Parliament House and of course, admire the view over the city from the Citadella Hill. Afternoon is free to enjoy and explore the city on your own. (B)

Optional: Csárda dinner with traditional Hungarian folklore

Day 6
Budapest - Bratislava - Prague

New adventure lies ahead as you travel to Bratislava, the magnificent capital of Slovakia. Upon arrival take a walking tour through the city´s main highlights such as the 13th century Michael's Gate and the pink neo-classical Primate's Palace. Then wander around the historic squares and discover the numerous modern statues that dot the area. In the afternoon continue to Prague, “The Mother of Cities”. Evening at leisure and overnight. (B)

Day 7
Prague

The capital of Czech Republic has a lot to offer. The city tour in the morning will take you across the Karl’s Bridge and to St Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace and Golden Lane. You will also visit proudly preserved Josefov neighbourhood, with its old cemetery and historic synagogues and much more. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure, which you can spend visiting the city museums, galleries and other attractions or you can join an optional cruise on the Vltava River and admire the city from another perspective. (B)

Optional: Vltava dinner cruise, or try one of the famous breweries with local crafts & delicious dinner

Day 8
Prague - Ceske Budejovice - Vienna

After breakfast we will say goodbye to Prague and head to Vienna, but first we will make a stop in the famous city in South Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice. This is the city where the famous beer Budweiser is being made. After the sightseeing of this beautiful 13th century royal city we will go to the Budweiser factory to learn more about beer production and have an opportunity to taste the beer. After the visit, continue to Vienna with arrival in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure in Vienna. (B)

Day 9
Vienna

In the morning a guided city tour to visit the most important sights in Vienna, including the State Opera House, the Museums of Natural History and Fine Arts, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. In the afternoon visit Schönbrunn Palace, the former imperial residence of the Habsburgs. After a great presentation and experience of the heart of Austro-Hungarian Empire you will have some free time for final shopping and goodbyes to the royal city. In the evening join the group for a Farewell Dinner where you will talk about most memorable moments of the tour and plan for new ones. (B, D)

Day 10
Vienna

Breakfast at the hotel and free time until departure transfer to Vienna Airport. (B)
