Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Zagreb

Welcome to Croatia! Meet with your Tour Director and get to know the details of your tour. Free time in Zagreb.

Day 2
Zagreb

Explore the interesting Croatian capital. Walking tour of historical Zagreb composed of Gornji Grad and Kaptol, will show you medieval, urban complex of churches, palaces, museums, galleries and government buildings, some of the most popular sightseeing spots in the city. Free afternoon to enjoy and discover the city further on your own. (B)

Day 3
Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes - Slunj

One of the most photogenic natural parks is waiting for you. A trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park will absolutely take your breath away. With its exceptional natural beauty, this area has always attracted nature lovers, and already on 08 April 1949, it was proclaimed Croatia’s first National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is considered one of the most spectacular natural phenomena, with 16 emerald-turquoise lakes that are connected to each other by a fabulous system of waterfalls. After a guided tour of the park you will have some time to enjoy the pristine nature and admire the emerald water. Later in the afternoon, transfer to the hotel in Plitvice area for overnight. Day 4
Slunj - Zadar - Trogir - Split

This morning after breakfast, continue to Zadar and start with a short city tour among ancient and early Christian monuments. Zadar was once the important city of the first Croatian Kingdom and is nowadays administrative and cultural capital of Northern Dalmatia. The antique Roman Forum, the old Church of St Donatus, Cathedral of St Anastasia and many other of its sights will leave an impression on you. Of course, you will also visit one of the most important “bucket list” attractions - Sea Organ, experimental instrument that plays music by the way of sea waves. In the afternoon drive to Split, with a stop in Trogir, antique town full of magical palaces. Free time in Split and overnight. (B, L)

Day 5
Split

Split is the capital of Dalmatia and both the administrative and cultural centre. The Old Town centre with its Diocletian Palace is part of a UNESCO Heritage and is the most compelling ancient Roman monument in Croatia. Start your day with exploring the city centre with a city tour that will take you to Diocletian Palace, St Domnius Cathedral, The Golden Gate and to the famous Split Riva seaside promenade. Afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Day 6
Split - Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is a unique jewel of the Adriatic Coast and is one of the most iconic cities in the world. The city-state of Dubrovnik was one of the most important merchant powers in the entire Adriatic region. Walk along the medieval walls that surround the Old Town centre and discover its ancient secrets. Passing the Pile Gate, Franciscan Monastery, visiting Rector’s Palace and discovering the magnificent city walls will amaze you. The afternoon will be free for exploring the city on your own or join an optional tour to the Island of Lokrum, famous for its Fort Royale, Botanical Garden and Monastery. (B)

Day 7
Dubrovnik

Free time to enjoy Dubrovnik on your own. Take a boat trip to Elaphiti Islands or just wander the medieval streets and travel back in time. In the evening, join your group for a Farewell Dinner where you will talk about most memorable moments of the tour and plan for new ones. (B, D)

Day 8
Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel and free time until departure transfer to Dubrovnik Airport. (B)
