Start your walk along the coast, passing by a couple of beautiful bays and beaches, following the trail which will lead you to Marjan Park-forest, a popular recreation place for the citizens of Split. Discover many charming churches and paths with amazing views of Split, the sea, and the nearby islands. Later in the evening, we suggest you continue your walk and discover the old walls and basements of Diocletian’s Palace, as well as numerous cafés and restaurants serving fresh Mediterranean food. After breakfast at the hotel, we start the day with the boat ride from Split to Brač Island. Once you arrive on the island, you will have the option for a west side loop, which will take you along olive groves, the laid-back village of Sutivan, and then back along the coast to the city of Supetar, or you can enjoy the easy coastal trail from Lovrečina Bay. Whatever path you choose today, you will enjoy great views of the mainland and quiet coastal paths, discovering the ancient Greek and Roman ruins and sleepy fishing villages. One of the trademarks of Brač Island is limestone and stone quarries – the White House in Washington D.C. and Diocletian’s Palace in Split are just some of the sites that were built with that stone. All the ancient villages and towns on Brač Island are like an exhibition of the fine stonework. What to do in the late afternoon is up to you – you can either spend your time at one of the many beaches surrounding Supetar or discover historical sites and local culture before returning to Split. Overnight in Split. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we depart for our visit to our second island in Croatia – Island Hvar. Cultural and historical sites, lavender fields, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and charming villages and towns are just some of the highlights this island offers to its visitors. Go for a sightseeing walk along the narrow streets of the town of Stari Grad, literally translated as The Old Town. Founded in the 4th century B.C., it was one of the first Greek colonies in the Adriatic. You can enjoy numerous charming squares, restaurants, and cafés in Stari Grad before setting off to the south coastline of Hvar Island, to the abandoned villages once famous for lavender and rosemary oil production. Along the way, you will walk through lavender fields, olive groves, and discover charming, hidden beaches with turquoise sea colours, before arriving in Hvar Town. In the afternoon, treat yourself to a well-deserved coffee or aperitif at one of the numerous bars in the Venetian-style piazza of Hvar Town before dinner. Overnight in Hvar. (B)

Located in the fortress, there is also a museum with a collection of amphorae and other antique exhibits from the Middle Ages. If you are interested in some real beach time, you can take a taxi boat to the Pakleni Islands, a small but beautiful archipelago located right in front of Hvar Town, where you can enjoy swimming in secluded bays and have a nice lunch overlooking the Adriatic. Later in the afternoon, you will depart by boat to Korčula Town, where you will spend the next two days. Overnight in Korčula. (B)

Nowadays, the island is famous for the production of the best Croatian white wines – Pošip and Grk. The hike today, will take you through the nature park with some amazing rock formations and wildlife. The walk itself is very relaxing, in an unusual but very pleasant landscape for the Dalmatian karst region. The area contains dolomite rock formations and is very densely forested. The hike through the nature park will lead you to the ancient Napoleon path. You will be walking along olive groves, small vineyards, and paths surrounded by sage, oregano, and other healthy herbs. The hike ends in the village of Pupnat, where you will have the option to enjoy a unique lunch prepared by the Farac family. Most of the ingredients they use in meals grow or are grown in the fields you walked through. You can spend the afternoon in the town of Korčula and explore its cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings, and other architectural masterpieces made in Gothic and Renaissance style. Accommodation
The hotels we prefer to use are small, boutique, and usually located in the centre of historic towns. Due to the small number of rooms in these hotels and high demand, these hotel rooms sell out quickly. Therefore, your early inquiry will be appreciated and will allow you to secure the best possible rooms.
Please note, if there are no rooms available during your trip, we will provide accommodation of the same standard in the same area. We can adjust accommodation and tour itineraries in accordance with your preferences. Feel free to send us your customised requests.
