Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Zagreb

On arrival at Zagreb airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is free. Meet your fellow travellers tonight at Welcome reception.

Day 2
Zagreb

This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)

Day 3
Zagreb - Ljubljana - Bled

After breakfast, head towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. See the most significant sights of the old city centre on a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Then, continue to Bled. (B, D)

Day 4
Bled

An Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks, Bled was “discovered” by travellers in the middle of the 19th century. Since then, a small town of hotels, villas, and restaurants has developed around the lake, turning Bled into a lively, all-seasons resort. A sightseeing tour features the charming town and the lakeshore, and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops and boutiques, or simply relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery. (B)

Day 5
Bled - Postojna - Opatija - Plitvice

The journey continues to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, continue to the coast, have a stop in Opatija. Enjoy the walking tour of this fashionable resort in the 19th century, dotted with Habsburg era villas. After some free time, continue towards Plitvice Lakes. (B, D)

Day 6
Plitvice - Split

After breakfast, have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the tour, head to Split. Overnight in Split. (B, D)

Day 7
Split

In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Then see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The rest of the day at leisure, to stroll through the beautiful streets of Split, or enjoy at the beach. (B)

Day 8
Split - Dubrovnik

After breakfast, travel to Dubrovnik. You will be transferred to the port, where embarkation begins at 1400HRS. Get settled in your cabin before going on a walking tour of Dubrovnik around 1700HRS, the “Pearl of Adriatic”. Walk through Stradun – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik and visit the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. After returning to ship, enjoy a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (B, D)

Day 9
Dubrovnik - Elaphiti Islands - Slano - Ston - Slano

Early in the morning, enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti Islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishing village and the starting point to Ston, situated on Pelješac Peninsula - a fortified small town famous for its oysters which you will taste in a nearby village. Pelješac Peninsula is also known as one of the best wine producing regions in Croatia. Tonight, enjoy Captain’s Dinner and overnight in Slano.

Day 10
Slano - Mljet NP - Korčula

In the morning, head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue your cruise towards Korčula island, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korčula, where you can enjoy a gourmet experience at multiple restaurants and bars. (B, L)

Day 11
Korčula - Hvar

In the morning, you will sail towards the Island of Hvar. Along the way, you will take a short swim stop to cool off and relax, if the weather permits. Lunch on board and set sail for Hvar on the Island of Hvar, a charming seaside town with 8 centuries of architecture, and a favourite holiday destination for international celebrities. During a walking tour, visit many historical sites, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above the town is the impressive fortress Fortica offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni Islands. Your evening is free to explore more and dine on your own in one of the many restaurants. (B, L)

Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbour (during peak season) port of all can be substituted for Stari Grad. In that case transfer by bus will be organised to and from Hvar. 

Day 12
Hvar - Bisevo - Vis

Early in the morning, sail to the small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. The possibility of your visit will depend on weather conditions; however, you will be notified of this on time. Afterwards, it continued to Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it interesting to visit. Since the independence of Croatia, the island began opening slowly to the outside world. Some of Europe's largest and greatest naval battles happened in the waters of Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and we will explore Vis history by military Land Rover Defenders. Overnight in one of the harbours on the island of Vis. (B, L)

Day 13
Vis - Brač Island

Early morning, head towards Milna on the Island of Brač with a swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch, disembark in Milna and take a ride to the Olive Oil Museum where you will hear the story of this island’s traditions and history and tasting of traditional homemade olive oil onboard. Overnight in one of the harbours on the island of Brač (B, L, T)

Day 14
Brač Island - Trogir - Split - Trogir

In the morning, head towards Trogir with a stop along the way to swim and relax, if the weather permits, with lunch on board. After docking, join a short orientation walk through this medieval city. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini-Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town” - as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. In the late afternoon, we will take a ride to Split, where you will join a guided tour and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical centre of the city, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Enjoy your free time in Split and explore the city on your own. After an exciting evening transfer you to the ship. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)

Day 15
Trogir

After breakfast, it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to Split airport for your flight home. (B)

Captain reserves the right to change the route in case of bad weather conditions, crowding or other circumstances out of his control. Departures are guaranteed for minimum 10 participants. Cruise Operator reserves the right to cancel or change the ship name if necessary. Guests are obliged to follow ship rules (found in written form onboard). Guests are not permitted to bring beverages onboard the vessel that have been purchased onshore. All drinks must be purchased onboard. In the event of inappropriate behaviour the Cruise Operator and Captain reserve the right to disembark guests. Most arrival times in port are in the late afternoon.

Port taxes, entrance fees, sightseeing and excursions (if not included in the package) must be paid in local currency upon arrival. 

Because of the narrow and cobbled streets, walking is the primary way of getting around. Please make sure you pack comfortable walking shoes.

It is highly recommended that clients take comprehensive travel insurance including against cancellation of reserved services.

Disclaimer
Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, ships are moored side by side. This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the vessels and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
