Day 1
Omišalj - Porozina - Cres

Individual arrival in Omišalj on the Island of Krk. Check in on the ship from 1300HRS. The ship leaves the harbour at 1500HRS and takes us to Porozina, the ferry port on the Island of Cres. From here we start our first cycling tour which leads us through the idyllic, mountain village of Predošćica and then on to the town of Cres. In the evening, your guide leads a walking tour through the old Venetian influenced town.

Cycle route approx 25km; 500m elevation

Day 2
Cres - Lubenice - Osor - Veli Lošinj - Mali Lošinj

Today’s tour takes us from Cres Town to Lubenice and then on to Osor. This small artist town has been inhabited since Roman times and is connected to the Island of Lošinj by a swing bridge. Here you can find out where the Croatia currency got its name. Next, we bike on to the picturesque port of Veli Lošinj, a small harbour with numerous fishing boats and the mighty Church of St Anton. Here there is enough time for an ice cream and a coffee before we continue on to Mali Lošinj.

Cycle route approx 85km; 1,450m elevation

Day 3
Mali Lošinj - Božava - Veli Rat - Sali

The “Spice Island” of Dugi Otok is one of the highlights of this trip. We cross the entire island on a fantastic, almost car-free road. Incredible views of the island landscape and the deep, blue surrounding sea will not cease to amaze you. We begin today’s tour in Božava and make a very worthwhile detour to the lighthouse of Veli Rat on the northern most point of the island. We finish the day’s ride in the village of Sali, at the southernmost point of the island. In the afternoon, there is a further, optional tour to the Telašćica Nature Park.

Cycle route approx 55km; 700m elevation

Day 4
Sali - Slanica - Tisno - Šibenik - Skradin - Lake Vransko - Biograd - Zadar

Today we begin our tour from a lonely jetty on the Island of Murter heading first towards Šibenik and then on to Skradin. Later, the tour takes us around Lake Vransko, Croatia’s largest freshwater reservoir, and on to Biograd. Here, our ship collects us to sail on towards Zadar in the afternoon, a city rich in both culture and historical heritage. In the evening, our guide gives a tour through the interesting Old Town of Zadar with its world-famous sea organ and “Greetings to the Sun” light installation.

Cycle route approx 120km; 1,000m elevation

Day 5
Zadar - Nin - Pag - Novalja - Lun - Rab

From Zadar our bike tour takes us to Nin, whose history dates back to the Roman times. The Old Town, situated on an island, is home to the smallest cathedral in the world, the Church of the Holy Cross, built around 800 AD. Our tour then leads us on to the Island of Pag, famous for its excellent cheese and saltpans. Already in the Roman times, salt was extracted here. Over the centuries, the people who lived here built numerous stone walls to protect them from the wind throughout the rugged yet charming landscape. The ship picks us up in Lun and we sail to the Island of Rab, whose four famous bell towers characterise this beautiful town.

Cycle route approx 110km; 1,000m elevation

Day 6
Rab - Lopar - Krk

The Island of Rab is one of the sunniest places in Europe. Today we begin by taking a relaxed tour to the town of Lopar which lies in the north of the island. Here, the ship awaits us to take us to the historical town of Krk, the capital of the island of the same name. Here we can unwind. In the afternoon, we have time to relax after the efforts of the previous days and recharge our batteries for tomorrow’s final tour. In the evening, our guide will offer a tour through the captivating Old Town with the impressive Frankopan Castle and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Cycle route approx 25km; 250m elevation

Day 7
Krk - Stara Baška - Vrbnik - Klimno - Omišalj

From Krk we cycle to Stara Baška and then across the island to Vrbnik, an old pirates nest perched on a clifftop overlooking the sea. While here, make sure not to miss the second narrowest street in the world. Our journey then continues through the interior of the island before we finally head back to the sea to Klimno, where the nearby Bay of Soline is the perfect spot for a healthy mud bath. Our last destination for the day is the harbour of Omišalj. Here we end our eventful journey with a final meal onboard followed by an evening with crew, guests and tour guides.

Disclaimer
Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian Ports, ships are moored side by side. This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the vessels and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

Fitness Level 2-3
Moderate to demanding road bike tours suitable for guests with a high level of fitness and good riding technique. Tours lead through hilly to mountainous terrain with a number of steeper climbs (30-120km and 500-1,700m of elevation per day).

Group riding pace
On regular road bike tours, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on regular road bikes. We ask guests who have reserved an e-road-bike to be mindful of this and to acknowledge that the regular cyclists require a little longer to climb the hills. Thank you for your understanding.

Helmet Requirement
Helmets use is mandatory on all cycling tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own well-fitted helmet. Rental helmets are available onboard in limited numbers (reservation required).

Itinerary Changes
Cruise Operator reserves the right to make changes to the planned itinerary due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organisational requirements. Should it be the case for example that the harbours on the above mentioned cruise sequence are overcrowded, the cruise will be operated in reverse.

Catering
The onboard chef is a member of the crew and prepares breakfast and dinner. Catering starts with dinner on the arrival day and ends with breakfast on the departure day. One meal a day is taken ashore and is not included in the cruise price.
