Stroll around Hvar Town with its mighty fortress and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the artist town of Stari Grad. The UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Trogir and Split are two more highlights this cruise has to offer and will inspire with their beauty and incredible history. Be sure to taste a variety of the Dalmatian specialties, especially the regional wines, referred to locally as “God’s droplet”. This cruise is occasionally offered parallel to the mountain bike cruise in Southern Dalmatia on the same boat. Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Trogir - Šolta

Individual arrival to Trogir, located approx 6km away from Split Airport. After embarkation on the small ship between 1400HRS and 1430HRS, the first cruise from Trogir to the Island of Šolta begins at 1500HRS. The first night is spent in a quiet harbour on the Island of Šolta with the opportunity to take a swim after a day of travel.

Day 2
Šolta - Vis

This morning we enjoy a cruise during breakfast to the Island of Vis. Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa inhabited the island 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today we have the opportunity to explore the lovely island by bicycle. We have plenty of time to enjoy the island and spend the night here.

Cycle route approx 31km

Day 3
Vis - Vela Luka

In the morning we leave the Island of Vis by boat and navigate to the harbour town of Vela Luka on the Island of Korčula. Along the way we throw the anchor for a refreshing swim stop. Korčula is regarded as one of the most scenic islands in the Adriatic, abundant in scenic impressions and quaint villages nestled in the green. Once we arrive in Vela Luka, we can enjoy a round tour from Vela Luka to the town of Blato and back again. The night is spent in Vela Luka.

Cycle route approx 30km

Day 4
Vela Luka - Hvar - Stari Grad - Jelsa - Stari Grad

The day starts with a relaxing cruise to Hvar Town on Hvar Island. Make use of the time before the cycle tour starts and go for a little stroll through the town. Standing on the magnificent Renaissance Square you can enjoy a view up to the Spanish Fortress towering high above the town. Today's bike tour takes us from the town of Hvar through small villages and lavender fields to Stari Grad on the opposite side of the island. The descent to Stari Grad offers breathtaking views. After a lunch break, we start off on a second cycling tour through the green planes of the island to the seaside town of Jelsa. After a break for coffee and ice cream, we continue the round trip back to Stari Grad where we spend the night.

Cycle route approx 22km + 20km

Day 5
Stari Grad - Milna - Postira

In the morning we cruise to the Island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington and in the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once we have arrived on Brač, we start our bike tour from Milna to the picturesque harbour town of Postira. At first, we cycle inland through small villages and past local architectural relics before hugging the coast with spectacular views across the channel to the mainland. On arrival in Postira there are many ways in which to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. The night is spent in the quiet harbour of Postira.

Cycle route approx 29km

Day 6
Postira - Split

During breakfast the boat brings us to the city of Split. The old town of Split, built adjoining the famous palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today we have the choice either to take a bus transfer to go rafting through the Cetina Canyon (not included in the cruise price) or to explore the wonderful Marjan forest park in Split by bike. The rafting group will be picked up from the boat by a bus and taken to Omiš for the excursion. From here they will follow the river downstream in the rafts gaining a unique perspective of the canyon and its flora and fauna. Participants of the rafting trip are brought back to the boat in the bus after the activity. Cyclists will enjoy a short but scenic bike tour through the green heart of Split, accompanied by an extensive swim break at a local beach. In the afternoon we can explore the bustling city of Split again together as one group. Overnight stay in Split.

Cycle route approx 17km

Day 7
Split - Rogač - Maslinica - Trogir

In the morning, we once more cruise to the Island of Šolta, where there will be an opportunity to take part in a bike ride to the local beekeeper Goran. Goran has a true passion for bees and has worked with them his whole life. He teaches about the importance of bees, allowing all his guests to try the delicious bee products. We cycle past walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean, and fig trees which line the roads. The scent of rosemary accompanies us along our tour around the island. After our bike ride, we return to the ship to enjoy our last crossing, past the cliffs of Čiovo Island and back to Trogir. Once we arrive, there will be plenty of time to visit the old town of Trogir, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The last evening aboard is celebrated in traditional fashion in the company of your fellow travellers and guides.

Captain reserves the right to change the route in case of bad weather conditions, crowding or other circumstances out of his control. Departures are guaranteed for minimum 14 participants. Cruise Operator reserves the right to cancel or change the ship name if necessary. Guests are obliged to follow ship rules (found in written form onboard). Guests are not permitted to bring beverages onboard the vessel that have been purchased onshore. All drinks must be purchased onboard. In the event of inappropriate behaviour the Cruise Operator and Captain reserves the right to disembark guests.

Port taxes, entrance fees, sightseeing and excursions (if not included in the package) must be paid in local currency upon arrival.

Disclaimer
Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian Ports, multiple ships are moored side by side. This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the ships, and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. View from cabin windows and balconies may be obstructed when moored in port and alongside other ships. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

Itinerary Changes
Cruise Operator reserves the right to make changes to the planned itinerary due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organisational requirements. Cruises are dependent on weather conditions and the final decision is that of the captain. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend time onboard the boat, instead of taking a planned bike tour.

Bike Level 2-3
The cycle tours require a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from regular cycling. The tours will take us up to a height of 200-650m above sea level. The day tours from 20-60km will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and can be completed without any time constraints. Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, during which they are, however, also permitted to push their bicycles. We traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely frequented outside the holiday seasons.

Group Riding Pace
On regular cycling tours, the cyclists on regular bicycles determine the pace. We ask guests who have reserved an e-bike to be mindful of this and to acknowledge that the regular cyclists need time to rest and take longer to climb the hills. We thank you for your understanding.

Children
We believe that only children with a good physical condition and previous bicycle tour experience and a minimum age of 10 are able to master the cycle tours with their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental e-bike is 1.20m for hybrid bikes and 1.50m for e-bikes. It is mandatory for all participants on tours to wear a bicycle helmet.

Catering
The onboard chef is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and one or two warm meals a day. The catering consists of 2 x Full Board and 5 x Half Board. Catering starts with the dinner on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day.

Language
Cruise and cycle tours are conducted bilingually (English, German).
