Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Trogir - Vis

Individual arrival to Trogir, which is approx 6km away from Split Airport. After embarkation on the small ship between 1400HRS and 1430HRS, the first cruise starts at approx 1500HRS from Trogir to the island of Vis where you will spend the night.

Day 2
Vis - Vela Luka

Vis is the furthermost island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa has been on the island 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today, you have the opportunity to explore the lovely island by bicycle. After cycling, the boat takes you to the Island of Korčula. Overnight stay in Vela Luka.

Cycle route approx 32km

Day 3
Vela Luka - Korčula

Today, discover the Island of Korčula by bicycle and enjoy your lunch break in one of the local restaurants. The calmness and remoteness, the vast vegetation and cypress gardens have given shape to probably the most beautiful Dalmatian island. Your cycle tour leads you via the town of Blato, like Rome built on seven hills, along a pass across Pupnat bay and finally to Korčula Town, where you have time to take a walk through the wonderful old town with its narrow fishbone-like alleys. Stay overnight in Korčula Town.

Cycle route approx 60km

Day 4
Korčula - Hvar - Stari Grad

In the morning, the boat cruises to the island of Hvar while you enjoy your breakfast. Before arriving at the island Capital, you have time for a swim from the boat and a relaxed lunch at anchor. Once on land, you have time to soak in the atmosphere of the magnificent Renaissance Square of Hvar town and enjoy the view up to the Spanish Fortress situated high above the city. Your ride takes you from the city of Hvar to the most beautiful view points on the island and past fragrant wild lavender fields to the town of Stari Grad. Stari Grad is the second largest settlement on the Island of Hvar and well known for its protective harbour and beautiful stone facades. The night is spent here.

Cycle route approx 20km

Day 5
Stari Grad - Milna - Postira

In the morning, cruise to the island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was used in part for the White House in Washington as well as for the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once on Brač, start your bike tour from Milna. Throughout your tour today, you will be rewarded with fantastic views over the neighboring islands before descending to the harbor of Postira. Here you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with time to swim and a quiet evening in this sleepy seaside town.

Cycle route approx 30km

Day 6
Postira - Omiš - Split

During breakfast, the boat brings you to Omiš. Today, you have the choice to either take a bus transfer to go rafting through the Cetina Canyon (not included in the tour price) or to make a bike tour around Omiš. The bike tour takes you once around the outskirts of the canyon with great views over the river and back down towards the sea. The rafting group will be picked up from the boat by bus and is taken to Omiš for the excursion. From here, you will follow the river downstream in the rafts gaining a unique perspective of the canyon and its flora and fauna. Participants of the rafting trip are brought back to the boat on the bus after the activity. In the afternoon, you cruise to Split, where you spend the night, and where you have a guided city tour in the evening.

Cycle route approx 44km

Day 7
Split - Rogač - Maslinica - Trogir

After crossing over to Rogač on the Island of Šolta, commence your last cycle tour. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean and fig trees line the roads. The herbal scent of rosemary accompanies you along our tour across the island. Your boat awaits you in Maslinica, and your last crossing back to Trogir where, if time permits, you can take a tour of the old town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The last evening aboard your ship follows a nice tradition. While enjoying a communal dinner in a cosy atmosphere you will have the chance for a last get-together with your crew and your tour guides.

Disclaimer
Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian Ports, multiple ships are moored side by side. This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the ships, and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. View from cabin windows and balconies may be obstructed when moored in port and alongside other ships. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

Itinerary Changes
Cruise Operator reserves the right to make changes to the planned itinerary due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organisational requirements. Should it be the case for example that the harbours on the above mentioned cruise sequence are overcrowded, the cruise will be operated in reverse.

Helmet Requirements
Helmets are mandatory on your bike tour. It is advised to bring your own, well fitted, helmet with you as the rental helmet numbers are limited (reservation required at time of booking).

E-Bike Level 4 / 5
Cycling tours through hilly to mountainous terrain with some steeper ascents of up to approximately 400 meters. All tours, including the elevation gains, can be mastered more easily with electronic assistance. Requires confident riding on winding descents, uneven asphalt, and occasionally gravel paths. Suitable for experienced cyclists accustomed to longer daily stages.

Distance: 30 - 60 km km per day
Elevation: 400 - 700 meters of elevation per day
Road conditions: The roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic outside of holiday periods. In some places, short sections of the route follow unpaved gravel and dirt tracks.
Traffic: In and around the coastal city of Split, as well as in the town of Hvar, traffic can be expected.
Infrastructure: There are no designated bike paths in Dalmatia, so the bike tours take place on public roads, preferably on quiet side streets.

Relevant for all levels: Safe cycling skills and familiarity with road traffic are prerequisites for taking part in our tours. Anyone renting an e-bike should already have experience and be confident in handling e-bikes, as these bikes are significantly heavier and faster than conventional bikes.

Individual cycling
This tour is primarily a guided group tour. Upon consultation with your tour guides, the possibility to cycle on your own along recommended, suitable routes, may present itself. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike tour.

Children
We believe that only children with a good physical condition and previous bicycle tour experience and a minimum age of 10 are able to master the cycle tours with their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental e-bike is 1.50m. Follow-me bikes, bike seats and bike bungees can also be hired for accompanying children. We are happy to provide you with more detailed information on request. It is mandatory for all participants on tours to wear a bicycle helmet. When travelling with children, we recommend our Multi-Adventure Tours in Greece and Croatia which are specifically curated for families and offer family-friendly pricing.
