Who Pays the Access Fee?
▪ Day visitors who do not stay overnight in Venice.
▪ Those who visit on specific high-traffic dates.
▪ Visitors who do not qualify for exemptions (full list available in the official regulations).
Who Is Exempt?
▪ Guests staying in accommodation within the City of Venice.
▪ Children under 14, individuals with certified disabilities, medical visitors, and certain other categories.
▪ Visitors attending with a ticket to the Venice Boat Show (27 May - 31 May) or the Vogalonga (24 May).
▪ Visitors of Venetian Lagoon Islands

▪ The access fee applies on 60 selected days between 03 April and 26 July 2026.
▪ Fee enforcement hours: 0830HRS - 1600HRS.
