Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Zagreb

Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, transfer to hotel. Meet the Tour Director, dinner and overnight. (D)

Day 2
Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes - Gospić

Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre, St Mark’s Church with its multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and the University. After the city tour drive to Plitvice, tour the Plitvice Lakes National Park on the UNESCO List of World Natural Heritage. Sixteen lakes, each at a different level, are joined in a series of cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by dense forest, Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty. Dinner and overnight in Gospić.

Day 3
Gospić - Trogir - Split

Morning departure for Trogir where we visit the Cathedral of St Lawrence. Continue to Split with city tour including the Diocletian Palace on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage, the Peristyle, the Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Split. (B, D)

Day 4
Split

Today we embark our cruise in Split, with a Welcome Reception followed by dinner that evening. Overnight onboard in Split Port. (B, D)

Day 5
Split - Trogir - Krka - Trogir

In the morning join a guided tour of Split, visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical centre of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set sail to the old Dalmatian town of Trogir. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a floating museum town, as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. After disembarking in Trogir we will take the bus to visit Krka Waterfalls National Park. You will discover the pristine nature and waterfalls of the Krka National Park, an area extremely rich with flora and fauna. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)

Day 6
Trogir - Stari Grad

Morning guided tour of Trogir with a local tour guide. Enjoy cruising towards Stari Grad with swimming stop and lunch onboard. Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe with many friendly and affordable konobas and restaurants in the backstreets of the old town. The Stari Grad Plain and the old town centre of Stari Grad have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2008. Your evening is free to explore Stari Grad on your own. (B, L)

Day 7
Stari Grad - Hvar - Vis

Leaving Stari Grad in the morning towards town of Hvar. A sightseeing tour of Hvar Town shows you the first public theatre in Europe and many more historical sites. Afterwards continue to Vis. The town of Vis is situated on the northern side of the island and was developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia, formed by the Greeks in 4th century BC. Visit the remains of the Roman Baths, Church of Our Lady and Town Museum or take a walk enjoying the view of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the coast. Your evening is free in Vis. Day 8
Vis - Biševo - Korčula

Leaving Vis we will have an early morning cruise towards the Island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon just in front of the town of Komiža. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on those conditions, however you will be notified of this on time. Afterwards cruise towards Korčula Town, the island’s main settlement known as the birthplace of Marco Polo, one of the world’s most famous explorers.  Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays enroute. Afternoon arrival in Korčula, followed by a guided walking tour of one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Korčula has an abundant choice of restaurants to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 9
Korčula - Mljet - Slano - Ston - Slano

In the morning head further south to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Director for a stroll to the famous saltwater lakes in the Mljet National Park. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters or kayaks to explore the National Park or island on your own. Lunch onboard and departure for Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen’s village and the starting point to Ston, once fortified small town famous for its oysters. Ston is situated on Pelješac Peninsula, known as one of the best wine producing regions in Croatia. After exploring the town we leave to a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic local oyster tasting. Tonight enjoy Captain’s Dinner and overnight in Slano.

Day 10
Slano - Elaphiti Islands - Dubrovnik

Early morning cruise to Elaphiti Islands with swimming stop in one of the secluded bays. Continue to Dubrovnik, but before we moor at Gruž Port, we will cruise alongside the old city walls, while lunch is served onboard. After docking, join a guided tour with panoramic ride and transfer included. After the panoramic view, we will arrive at the historical centre of Dubrovnik. Walk through Stradun, both a street and a square, and the most famous place inside the city walls of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights. After city tour, you will be left on your own to explore the city. You can visit the city walls, the Franciscan Monastery with Europe's second oldest pharmacy, the Rector's Palace and the Cathedral, take a boat ride to Lokrum Island or take the cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)

Day 11
Dubrovnik

After breakfast it’s time to disembark by 0900HRS. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik Airport or your Dubrovnik hotel. (B)

Captain reserves the right to change the route in case of bad weather conditions, crowding or other circumstances out of his control. Departures are guaranteed for minimum 10 participants. Cruise Operator reserves the right to cancel or change the ship name if necessary. Guests are obliged to follow ship rules (found in written form onboard). Guests are not permitted to bring beverages onboard the vessel that have been purchased onshore. All drinks must be purchased onboard. In the event of inappropriate behaviour the Cruise Operator and Captain reserve the right to disembark guests. Most arrival times in port are in the late afternoon.

Port taxes, entrance fees, sightseeing and excursions (if not included in the package) must be paid in local currency upon arrival. EUR currency quoted is converted on the spot to the equivalent in Croatian Kuna.

It is highly recommended that clients take comprehensive travel insurance including against cancellation of reserved services.

Disclaimer
Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, ships are moored side by side. This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the vessels and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
