Upon arrival at Split Airport/Port transfer to your hotel. Rest of day is free at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Then see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Rest of day is free to explore the city on your own. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, head to Trogir, the centre of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather here to study and paint. Then, turn inland and travel to spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. Have your camera ready during your walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Conclude the day with checking into your hotel in Zagreb. (B)

Zagreb Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Our destination of the day is Ljubljana. But the way is full of hidden gems, we will stop at Kostanjevica na Krki first. The village is called Slovenian Venice, the oldest in Dolenjska region and will impress you with charm. As you will be driving along the Krka river for some time, we will stop at another river spot, the Otočec castle. The only water castle in the country with a delightful park. Finish the day with overnight in Ljubljana. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. During the walking tour of the city see the most significant sights of the old city centre. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Remainder of the day is free to explore the vibrant city on your own. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. It is time to head north. First, you will stop in Bled. An Alpine lake surrounded by high peaks, Bled was ‘discovered’ by travellers in the middle of the 19th century. Since then, a small town of hotels, villas, and restaurants has developed around the lake, turning Bled into a lively, all-seasons resort. A sightseeing tour features the charming town and the lakeshore and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. The name Salzburg means 'salt fortress'. For thousands of years, salt has been mined from the area around Salzburg. This 'white gold' made Salzburg a powerful trading city. Today, it's a city famous for its baroque architecture, the perfect blend of history and culture, it's a home to Mozart, an ancient fortress, and several Sound of Music sites, all of which you will explore with your guide during todays' sightseeing tour. Afternoon is free to explore the city in depths on your own. (B)

Another highlight of the tour awaits us today. We head towards Oberammergau, a small village that became famous not only for the Passion Plays performances held every ten years but also for its woodcarvers and woodcarvings as well as the ‘Lüftlmalerei’, or frescoes, of traditional Bavarian themes, fairy tales, religious scenes or architectural trompe-l'oeil found on many homes and buildings. The driving guide will drop you off at your accommodation in the area and leave you to explore on your own. Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau Area. (B, D)
