Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Split - Pakleni Islands - Hvar

Check in from 1100HRS in Split Port, departure at 1300HRS towards the Pakleni Islands near Hvar (the longest island in the Adriatic) for lunch and a swimming stop. The Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612 can be found here in Hvar Town. Hvar is known as a jet set island, offering abundant entertainment, excellent restaurants, bars and cafes serving drinks long into the night. Don`t forget to buy some island lavender from local stalls. Overnight in Hvar Town. (L)

Day 2
Hvar - Biševo - Vis

Early morning departure towards Biševo Island to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the cave might be closed for visits due to wind and/or high tide, you will be notified in time by the crew. Entrance to Blue Cave is to be paid on the spot (approx EUR10-15 per person). Afterwards, cruise towards the Vis Island, which was “off-limits” to tourists for many years. Because of its unique geographical position, it was a strategic harbour for the navy and in this period of isolation Vis has retained a rather special charm reflecting the “Mediterranean as it once was”, making it really interesting to see. The town of Vis is on the northern side of the island and was developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia, formed by the Greeks in the 4th century BC. Visit the remains of the Roman Baths, Town Museum or take a walk enjoying the view of the beautiful ‘Villae Rusticae‘ situated along the coast. (B, L)

Day 3
Vis - Bol - Milna

Our next stop is the Island of Brač. The most famous and most photographed beach in Dalmatia is Zlatni Rat near Bol (Golden Horn), a shingle bar that moves and changes shape according to the wind and it is here that we stop for a swim. Bol is a typical fishermen’s town that still feels like that despite being a popular spot for visitors. We leave Bol and head to Milna, or as the Venetians called it “Valle di Mille Navi” (The Bay of Thousand Ships). Milna is located on the north-western side of the island, and it is still reputed as the most beautiful and safest harbour on Brač. Stone houses along the beautiful long coastline are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture. For years, Milna was known for its shipbuilding and the renowned Dalmatian boat ‘Bracera’ was first made here. Today, Milna is a popular tourist centre and a favourite nautical port. Overnight in Milna. (B, L)
