Day 2
Split - Bol - Hvar - Stari Grad

Morning guided walking tour of Split shows us the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, it’s Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. Set sail towards Bol, a small town on the Island of Brač, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 530m long golden, pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards head to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet set. “The Croatian Madeira” is also the longest island stretching along the shores of Croatia. Spend evening and night at Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe. (B, L)

Day 3
Stari Grad - Biševo - Vis

Leaving Island of Hvar, we will have an early morning cruise towards small Island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (entrance to be paid on the spot €7 per person approx). As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on those conditions, however you will be notified of this on time. Continue to the Island of Vis, once a strategic Navy base and closed to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm of the Mediterranean as it once was, making it really interesting to visit. Situated on the northern part of the island, Vis has developed near the remains of ancient Issa, first urban centre in Croatia. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, City Museum, or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Overnight in town of Vis. (B, L)

Day 4
Vis - Korčula

While enjoying breakfast overlooking the blue waters of the Adriatic we continue our cruise towards Korčula Island, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays enroute. Afternoon arrival in Korčula, followed by a guided walking tour of one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Fish bone street pattern was used in Korčula Old Town design to reduce effects of wind and sun and provide citizens with sheltered and comfortable accommodation. Korčula has an abundant choice of restaurants to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 5
Korčula - Mljet

In the morning, we continue further south to the Island of Mljet. The legend says Greek hero Odysseus spent years on this island when he was captured by the nymph Calypso. Join the Cruise Director for a stroll to the famous saltwater lakes in the Mljet National Park (entrance to be paid on the spot €15 per person approx) and enjoy the boat ride to St Mary’s Isle and visit an ancient Benedictine Monastery, an old abbey and a church dating back to the 12th century. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters, or kayaks to explore the National Park, or the rest of the island on your own. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the island and tonight, Captain’s Dinner onboard. Overnight in port of Pomena. (B, L, D)

Day 6
Mljet - Slano - Ston - Slano

Morning departure for a small village of Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen’s village and a starting point to Ston, once fortified small town famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts, a short coastal walk leads us to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and taste this delicious treat. Overnight in Slano. (B, L, T)
