Day by day Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to Gruž Port, where embarkation starts from 1300HRS. Welcome Dinner in the evening and overnight onboard. (D)

Day 2
Dubrovnik - Elaphiti - Slano - Ston - Slano

Start the day with a walking tour of “The Pearl of Adriatic”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After returning to the ship, enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik City Walls, before continuing to one of the Elaphiti Islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village and our starting point to Ston, once fortified small town famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts, we leave to a small village nearby to learn more about oysters and taste this delicious treat. Time at leisure and return transfer to the ship. Dinner onboard and overnight.

Day 3
Slano - Mljet

In the morning, we head further north to the Island of Mljet. The legend says Greek hero Odysseus spent years on this island when he was captured by the nymph Calypso. Join the Cruise Director for a stroll to the famous saltwater lakes in the Mljet National Park (entrance to be paid on the spot €15 per person approx) and enjoy the boat ride to St Mary’s Isle and visit an ancient Benedictine Monastery, an old abbey and a church dating back to the 12th century. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters, or kayaks to explore the National Park, or the rest of the island on your own. Overnight in port of Pomena. (B, L)

Day 4
Mljet - Korčula

We continue our cruise towards Korčula, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays enroute. Afternoon arrival in Korčula, followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls and one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Fish bone street pattern was used in Korčula Old Town design to reduce effects of wind and sun and provide citizens with sheltered and comfortable accommodation. Korčula has an abundant choice of restaurants to enjoy a gourmet experience and numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 5
Korčula - Vis

Cruise towards the Island of Vis and town with the same name. Vis was known in antiquity as Issa, founded around 397BC. It was once a strategic Navy base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm of the Mediterranean as it once was, making it really interesting to visit. Try some exquisite wine sorts in one of the traditional wineries. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, City Museum, or simply take a walk enjoying the views. Enjoy Captain’s Dinner onboard this evening. Overnight in the port of Vis. Day 6
Vis - Biševo - Hvar

Early in the morning we cruise to the small Island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (entrance to be paid on the spot €7 per person approx). As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on those conditions, however you will be notified of this on time. Continue towards the jet set Island of Hvar, with a swim stop and lunch onboard. Hvar is the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, known for lavish lavender fields and breathtaking beauty. Afternoon arrival in Hvar Town, followed by a tour including the Renaissance Cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1,612. In the evening, Hvar offers an abundance of entertainment, numerous restaurants, bars and cafes are open long into the night. Overnight in Hvar. (B, L)

Day 7
Hvar - Bol - Split

Early morning departure to Brač Island where swimming is planned at the most famous beach in Dalmatia, Zlatni Rat, near the town of Bol, whose pebbles shift from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change its shape. Bol is a typical fishermen’s town, converted into a popular tourist destination. Continue to Split to enjoy a guided tour of the city upon arrival, a walking tour shows off the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian`s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, it Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter`s Temple, the Peristyle and many other sites. Overnight in Split. (B, L)

Day 8

After breakfast, it is time to disembark by 0900HRS. You will be transferred to Split Airport. (B)

Captain reserves the right to change the route in case of bad weather conditions, crowding or other circumstances out of his control. Departures are guaranteed for minimum 10 participants. Cruise Operator reserves the right to cancel or change the ship name if necessary. Guests are obliged to follow ship rules (found in written form onboard). Guests are not permitted to bring beverages onboard the vessel that have been purchased onshore. All drinks must be purchased onboard. In the event of inappropriate behaviour the Cruise Operator and Captain reserves the right to disembark guests. Most arrival times in port are in the late afternoon.

Port taxes, entrance fees, sightseeing and excursions (if not included in the package) must be paid in local currency upon arrival. EUR currency quoted is converted on the spot to the equivalent in Croatian Kuna.

Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian Ports, ships are moored side by side. This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the vessels and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
