Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Split

You will be transferred from Split Airport or your Split hotel to Split Port, where embarkation begins at 1300HRS. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome Reception, followed by dinner this evening. (D)

Day 2
Split - Bol - Hvar

Morning guided walking tour of Split shows us the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, Peristyle and the Cathedral. Set sail towards Bol, a small town on the Island of Brač, for a swim at Zlatni Rat. Enjoy the 530m long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards head to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet set. A sightseeing tour of Hvar Town shows you the first public theatre in Europe, older than Shakespeare’s Theatre in the United Kingdom, and many more historical sites. Spend evening and night in Hvar Town. (B, L)

Note: Due to the limited capacity of Hvar Port during peak season in July and August, port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad, or Jelsa. In that case transfer by coach will be organised to and from Hvar Town.

Day 3
Hvar - Biševo - Vis

Leaving Hvar, we will have an early morning cruise towards the small Island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on those conditions, however you will be notified of this on time (entrance fee not included). Continue to the Island of Vis, once a strategic naval base and closed to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm of the Mediterranean as it once was, making it really interesting to visit. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman Thermal Place, Town Museum, or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Overnight in Vis Town. (B, L)

Day 4
Vis - Korčula

While enjoying breakfast overlooking the blue waters of the Adriatic, we continue our cruise towards the Island of Korčula, best known as the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays enroute. Afternoon arrival in Korčula Town, followed by a guided walking tour of one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Korčula has an abundant choice of restaurants for you to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 5
Korčula - Mljet

In the morning, head further south to the Island of Mljet. Join your Cruise Director for a stroll to the famous saltwater lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to the St Mary's Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a church dating back to the 12th century (entrance fees not included). Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters or kayaks to explore the island on your own. Tonight, enjoy Captain's Dinner and overnight in the port of Pomena. (B, L, D)

Day 6
Mljet - Slano - Ston - Slano

Morning departure for Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen’s village and the starting point to Ston, another once fortified small town, famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts, a short coastal walk leads us to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and tasting this delicious treat. Dinner and overnight onboard in Slano. (B, T, D)

Day 7
Slano - Elaphiti - Dubrovnik

Early morning cruise to Elaphiti Islands with swimming stop in one of the secluded bays. Continue to Dubrovnik, but before we moor at Gruž Port, we will cruise alongside the old city walls, while lunch is served onboard. After docking, join a guided tour with panoramic ride and transfer included. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Enjoy the last night of the cruise exploring the magnificent town of Dubrovnik on your own. (B, L)
