Day by day Itinerary

Day 1
Dubrovnik

Individual arrival to Dubrovnik. Embarkation onboard starts between 1400-1430HRS at Gruž Port. At approx 1630HRS, a guided tour through Dubrovnik is offered, where we hear some interesting details of the town’s history and visit the most impressive sites. The ship will spend the night in Gruž Port, offering the guests an opportunity to experience Dubrovnik’s nightlife.

Day 2
Dubrovnik - Mljet

In the morning we cross over to the green and forested Island of Mljet, known as the "Honey Island". With 70% of its landmass covered by forests, it is the greenest island in the Mediterranean. Homer mentioned this lovely island in his epic poem 'Odyssey'. He made it a home for the Nymph Calypso and the legendary Greek King Odysseus, who could not resist Calypso and stayed on Mljet for seven years. We cycle from Sobra to Pomena where our ship awaits us for dinner. Overnight stay in Pomena.

Cycle route approx 28km

Day 3
Mljet - Lastovo - Korčula

Today our ship takes us to the Island of Lastovo. The island is one of the smaller inhabited islands in the Adriatic Sea. The Emperor Augustus appreciated the mild climate, and in Roman times it was even named “Augusta Insula” after him. Today’s cycle tour takes us across this beautiful island. The gold-coloured white wine ‘Maraština’, known even beyond Croatia’s borders, is grown here. Back at the ship it’s time to cast off! A crossing takes us over to Korčula Island, regarded as one of the most beautiful islands in Dalmatia. The picturesque town of Korčula competes with Venice for the honour of being the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Use the evening to wander through the fishbone alleyways and soak up the vibes of this stylish town. A guided walking tour will give you an overview of the town and its features.

Cycle route approx 28km

Day 4
Korčula - Vela Luka

Today’s cycle tour leads us across the charming Island of Korčula. A mild Mediterranean climate and a broad variety of different landscapes accompany us on the tour today. Take your time and remember to take a break to enjoy the view over the deep blue sea and neighbouring islands. Dinner is served onboard to replenish our strength after an active day. Overnight stay in the sheltered bay of Vela Luka.

Cycle route approx 60km

Day 5
Vela Luka - Hvar - Stari Grad - Jelsa

The day starts with a relaxing cruise to Hvar Town on Hvar Island. Make use of the time before the cycle tour starts and go for a little stroll through the town. Standing on the magnificent Renaissance Square, you can enjoy a view up to the Spanish Fortress towering high above the town. Today's bike tour takes us from the town of Hvar through small villages and lavender fields to Stari Grad on the opposite side of the island. The descent to Stari Grad offers breathtaking views. After a lunch break onboard, we continue cycling to Jelsa, where we will also spend the night.

Cycle route approx 35km

Day 6
Jelsa - Bol - Pučišća

We cruise to the Island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington DC and in the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once we have arrived on Brač, we start our bike tour from Bol to the picturesque harbour town of Pučišća. We will spend the afternoon and evening here. Enjoy the serenity of the town, famous internationally for its stonemasonry school.

Cycle route approx 23km

Day 7
Pučišća - Supetar - Split

Our last bike tour leads us along the northern coastline of Brač from Pučišća to Supetar. Then, for the last time in an eventful week, we enjoy a cruise to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Split. A guided city tour offers us the chance to see inside the former Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian and to learn about its transformation into the city which it has become. A cheerful evening meal onboard the ship gives you time to celebrate the success of the week with fellow travellers and tour guides.

E-Bike Level 1 / Hybrid Bike Level 2
Cycle tours fit for both: hybrid and e-bikers. You have to decide beforehand, which bicycle you like to rent. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or to spend time onboard the ship, instead of taking a planned cycle tour. Helmet use is mandatory on all cycle tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well-fitted) helmet.

Requirements for hybrid bikers (Level 2)
The cycle tours require an advanced level of fitness. The tours will take us up to a height of 200-500m above sea level. The day tours up to 60km will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time constraints. Participants will also need to master longer climbs, during which they are, however, also permitted to push their bicycles. We traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely frequented outside the holiday seasons.

Requirements for e-bikers (Level 1)
E-bike tours are suitable for those with a good basic level of fitness. The tours and the elevation metres are very manageable with an e-bike (30-60km and 400-700m elevation per day).

Guided group pace
On e-bike tour programmes, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on these tours on a regular bicycle should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace. Thank you for your understanding.

Hybrid Bicycles or similar (Included)
Basic bicycles with trapeze or diamond frame that are available in four frame sizes. Trapeze frame in 46cm and 52cm or diamond frame with top tube in 56cm and 60cm. The rental bikes are only available for participants that are taller than 150cm. In order to supply you with the bicycle that fits you, we need to know how tall you are.

Panniers (Included)
For the duration of the cruise you will be supplied with a waterproof pannier by Ortlieb, a practical way of carrying drinks, bathing gear, camera etc. The use of panniers is free of charge. To ensure that bike panniers remain waterproof they have to be closed tight. Although panniers are manufactured from waterproof material we cannot be held liable for any damage that might be caused to any personal belongings like mobile phones, cameras etc.

E-bikes are characterized by their light weight (20kg without the battery installed) and their ability to ride in varying terrain. This model is fitted with a performance motor, the most advanced e-bike motor on the market. The range of the 500WH battery is noticeably better than that of the previous model, Delhi Hybrid Pro 400. The 9 gears are perfectly in tune with the motor and are easy to operate. Trapeze frame is available for all participants up to 179cm tall, and a diamond frame for participants 180cm+ tall.

This makes it necessary to cross from one ship to the other where there are gaps in between each ship. Special care must be taken at all times when crossing between the vessels and guests do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. Cruises are not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
